Roller Shutters
Roller shutters are a streamlined and affordable way to improve light control and insulation, while also providing home security. This product can be fit to corner windows, bay windows and sliding doors and blocks out natural light when closed, and is therefore fantastic for shift workers, or parents of young children. In Summer, roller shutters can provide some much needed relief from the dry Canberra heat. You have the choice of either an electric shutter (safely wired to your home’s mains power by a qualified electrician), a remote controlled shutter, or a manual shutter with a winding handle installed into the wall. Each shutter is custom-made after our initial assessment and measurement, and Canberra Shutter owner, Steve, will personally install the product to ensure a beautiful finish.
Remote controller roller shutters are a slightly more cost effective option as compared to electric shutters. These shutters are battery control operated, and we are able to program multiple shutters around your home to the one remote control for a simple solution.
Our manual roller shutters are operated by a winding handle installed into the wall. These are a slightly more cost effective option compared to electric shutters, an option for roller shutters on a budget.
Electric roller shutters are our most popular option, as they are safely wired to your home’s mains power by a qualified electrician and tend to be a set and forget option that will require little to no maintenance into the future.
